Suranga Jayalath holds LLB (Sri Lanka) and Master of Business Law (Monash University, Australia) degrees and is an Attorney-at-Law. He serves on the main Board of Directors of the Capital Maharaja Organisation Limited, one of the largest conglomerates in Sri Lanka. He is a member of the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) and a member of the Commonwealth Lawyers Association.
